I think it’s the one that sells us security=McCain. As if this man, whose only solution to every challenge is force, force and more force, is actually capable of bringing any security and stability to anyone. This advertising campaign seems to be a real success at the moment.

Isn’t it obvious that his aggressive policies will bring nothing but more insecurity to this country and the world in general, while at the same time depriving us of all the resources that we desperately need for education, health, jobs and to handle the horrible economic situation brought about by the previous wars?

This very successful public relations campaign has programmed us to respond automatically when we hear the words security and protection to think of McCain. And most of us seem to swallow it without second thought. And the other candidates seem too afraid to speak in a way that is different from this horrible mindset.

Did anyone ever stop to ask what is real security? How does it come about and why have come to the state that we are living in fear and insecurity and willing to give everything to the man who promises to protect us?

Do you live in security by using the most powerful and sophisticated tools of death to scare the hell out anyone that doesn’t think like you. Does security mean terrorizing others, occupying them, killing and stripping them of their most basic rights as humans and so creating great security for yourself?
Does real security means threatening others? Please think about it for a while. Is that real security, scaring others into submission?
That is his plan, do you understand that, people of America? He believes that killing, bombing, torturing and mutilating others is the only way and that will bring security to Americans? That is such an insane and twisted mindset that I don’t know if to laugh or cry.

Of course you won’t hear those words in the current well-crafted advertising campaign around him, but if you look at what this man is saying through the years, you’ll see that that is what he believes in.

If you’re trying to achieve your particular personal (or national) security by oppressing others, torturing, killing and scaring them into submission you are only inviting insecurity for yourself and for the rest of the world because the result of your actions and this force will inevitably be directed against you sooner or later. The fear and animosity that you generate in others will inevitably turn into hate and actions against you. This seems so obvious, isn’t it? Yet most people still believe this man when he says “I know how to handle them Iranians, ladies and gentleman…” and wants to bomb the life out of them as if that will bring us security.

What is real security? Please think about it for a minute. isn’t it living in a world where people don’t hate each other and want to hurt each other, don’t suppress and occupy other people, don’t hold people at gunpoint at their bedroom because they happen to be born at the wrong place?
Doesn’t real security mean a world were people are not afraid and are free to pursue what really interests them in life without fear and suppression. Please don’t immediately jump and say that this is not the real world. Of course it isn’t. The real world is what we create. We have created this mess that we live in with our own ignorant and vicious actions, and we are the only ones that can start fixing it. You don’t bring real security by bombing the life out of everything that isn’t American. You must have real care for other human beings and for the planet as a whole. This guy will turn this whole planet into a huge graveyard in pursuit of his security. He thinks that using force (not himself personally, of course, he will draft you to do the fighting) is the only solution. Isn’t it obvious that such an approach will only bring more insecurity, misery and pain to a world that is already in deep suffering.
Do you really want to give him power to do that? is that really what you wish for the world? I beg you to consider this before making such an important decision.

I am in the process of purchasing a home security, system and I am getting 4 quotes. The system will be monitor regardless of the type.

I live in a small town that does have some issues. Recently my truck has been keyed repeatedly. Last night it was parked in my locked yard and was still keyed. So I am now thinking I need a camera. I have been looking on line but have no clue where to begin. I saw companies that have a cheaper fee if you putting in the equipment yourself but I’m not sure how to do it all or how to set up cables for a camera. The basics, my house has two doors, four windows people could probably crawl through and five windows that I don’t think they could make it through. Their small and mostly high off the ground. I have a basement with only outside access with a small door that is chained shut. I don’t have a home telephone and the internet service in town is not very reliable. I don’t have the desire to monitor my home online while I’m gone, but I do want it to record in case there is some damage to my truck. My yard is enclosed with a chain link fence that I do lock. I also already have a pit bull that is very scary but that didn’t stop my truck from being keyed. My area is very well lit and no scrubs or anything to get in the way. The last person I ever had a problem with was years ago and I have no idea who would be keying my truck. Any advice would be very helpful. Thanks.

well, it is not becaue I am trying to save on my insurance, it is because I am not home a lot, and I would feel better at least having some eyes of some sort watching my place.

My home has recently been broken into twice in the last 2 weeks but nothing was taken. My husband and I have cell phones and really don’t want to get a home phone. Do you have to have a home phone line to have a security alarm for my house? If you don’t have to have one, do you know an alarm company that will operate with just having our cell phones?

im looking for a simple do it yourself security system. im wanting 4 motion detectors the keypad and the system that calls the programed phone numbers when the system is triggered.i seen some on ebay but their cheap trash! i fell for it and bought one and its crap . im sending it back. i dont want a companies monitoring service tho. just a system that will inform me if anything goes down. any one know where i can find one inexpensive?

So in college dormitories, we have fire alarms (building-wide) and then smoke detectors in individual rooms. Obviously, the smoke detectors go off when they detect smoke. Do the fire alarms go off automatically, or only if someone pulls it? I notice they don’t always go off when smoke detectors do.

This is a deadly combination, should Janet and obama be more concerned with border issues because of this?

Secret Army Report: Drug Cartels, Terrorists Join Forces to Infiltrate U.S.

A secret intelligence mission recently conducted along the southern border of the United States found that drug cartels are teaming with terrorists to exploit the numerous vulnerabilities along the sparsely defended 2,000-mile Mexican border.

The mission, dubbed Operation Red Zone was conducted in February and March by the Army’s Asymmetrical Warfare Group (AWG). The clandestine intelligence gathering organization is a 350-member “special mission unit” that works to “identify critical threats and enemy and friendly vulnerabilities through global first-hand observations,” the Army says.

The group is based at Ft. Meade, Maryland, also home to the National Security Agency.

Red Zone investigators discovered numerous alien smuggling and drug trafficking operations along the border. Perpetrators are using “maritime surface craft, semi-submersible watercraft, ultra-light aircraft and possess the capability [to] utilize other potential aerial infiltration techniques to circumvent ground border protection capabilities,” according to Asymmetric Observations Along the U.S.- Mexican Border released May 14 by the Army to federal and state law enforcement agencies.

“The AWG served as observers to advise the Border Patrol, Coast Guard and local law enforcement. During the operation AWG personnel were not authorized to enter Mexican territory and none were armed,” Donald Cicotte, spokesman for the AWG at Ft. Meade tells Newsmax.

After the mission was completed, AWG personnel prepared a classified report for the Department of Defense. A “cleansed” version, like the one viewed by Newsmax, was sent to civilian law enforcement agencies

“Obviously we don’t want to lose control of this [report,]” CiCotte adds. “We obviously don’t want to tell the bad guys what we know.”

Operating behind the scenes on the project was Joint Task Force – North (JTF-N), a joint-service command headed by Army Brig. Gen. Sean B. McFarland. The 180-member task force helps local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies plan and coordinate activities to thwart drug cartels, human smugglers, and other emerging threats, JTF-N spokesman Armando Carrasco tells Newsmax.

In this instance the U.S. Customs and Border Protection in the San Diego area requested assistance identifying new threats and the AWG was recruited, he said.

“We don’t have any resources of our own. We don’t have heavy equipment or helicopters. For instance we can’t call up an engineer battalion to build a road. We solicit units from all the services equipped with what we need and asked them for help,” Carrasco said. “We have three JAG attorneys that ensure we are legally authorized to perform the mission. The lawyers spell out in briefings to each unit that they cannot be deployed in a law enforcement role.”

Militarty theorists define assymetrical threats as strategies and tactics used by ill-equipped terrorists and criminals to circumvent sophisticated defenses of more powerful governments. Common examples include clandestine cross-border infiltration, smuggling, and defeating sophisticated electronics and optical sensors with simple counter-measures.

During the operation, the AWG worked with the Department of Homeland Security and state and local law enforcement in the San Diego area to “observe asymmetric infiltration operations and emerging asymmetric threats.”

The Army investigators discovered that drug traffickers and smugglers are employing “exceptional surveillance and counter-surveillance capabilities, robust technical communications capabilities as well as effective marking and signaling techniques to facilitate smuggling of illegal personnel and illicit cargo into the United States,” the report says.

Some of the aliens are suspected of being terrorists from Middle Eastern countries sneaking into the country by employing drug smugglers skilled in transporting human cargo into the United States, the report adds.

Few of the tactics employed by the border busters appear sinister at first glance. In one example, the AWG reported seeing a woman setting up a road-side tamale stand on the south-side of the primary border fence. Upon investigation it was found that her car was parked pointing toward “known fence breach points” as a signal to border jumpers.

Other seemingly innocent activities observed by the intelligence operatives revealed drug trafficking and “alien smuggling spotters” using taxis and other legitimate businesses located on the U.S. side of the border to monitor and report Border Patrol activities to criminals who pay them with drug proceeds.

I just moved into a new house in Atlanta, GA and want to get a security system installed in my house. I don’t want to get a land line if I can help it, so I’d like to get one that is capable of wireless monitoring. I’d also like to pay less than the per month that so many companies advertise, but I don’t want to pay a ton to have it installed, either. And researching this is driving me crazy because no one will just give me a straight answer on what their systems cost to install and monitor! They all want to send out a "representative" (aka, salesperson) to "evaluate my home security needs" (aka, pressure me to sign a contract and spend lots of money). I know what I need, I just want to find out who can provide it and for how much! I cannot take time off work to wait for some stranger to come walk through my house and tell me what I need. Does anyone know of a security company serving Atlanta that offers good service at reasonable prices without playing games?

My opinion is it because you are letting the government, who probably proposed to take your liberties away, to have the power over you and expose yourself to an even greater threat: The authority in your own country.
