I just wondered, because sometimes they can’t clarify stuff like that very well. I guess you can see what they’re wearing. It’s like if you really want to catch the criminal, you would at least pay more money for better cameras. Just a thought. What do you think?

What do I need for a basic home security system.
I don’t want anything elaborate as I live in a "safe" area.
I want something like a remote operated button that my elderly mom can push in an event someone breaks in. A loud alarm that will go off both inside and outside to "scare" any robbers and alert her neighbors.
Does anybody know if there are security cameras at the park and ride in Fullerton? The address is 3000 w. Orangethorpe, Fullerton, CA. If so, who could I contact for the Park and Ride? My dad’s car was hit while parked, and we want video footage because the person that was caught is denying his car hit my dad’s car. However we have the license plate. People are dumb and idiots in this country!
Someone will send me an email with pictures and I will have to download them first. A little preview does not show up anymore as it once did? Is it even a Zone Alarm problem?
Thank you my family has been a victim of a robbery when we were not home during the day . We are allready getting a dog and now we need the security. I dont want a system that someone else monitors if its monitored I want to be the one that is notified of a intrusion not a home security company.Any info on this would be great .
security camers in public places such as malls, schools…etc
why are they an invasion to our privacy?
Hi I live in the midwest I am looking to get a home security system and monthly monitoring. I want one that is legit, has good customer service and has reliable equipment that will last (not break). I do not want to mess with wireless, or anything that will interfere with my existing wireless networks. Does anyone have a company to recommend or one to avoid?? Any advice at all would help, thanx!
I installed AVG 8 for the first time while ago and after it had been working for some time it said, "This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem."
Ok so I reinstalled the application from my AVG Internet Security 8 disc and it then worked again.
And then the same error has occurered and if I reinstall it most likely the same thing is going to happen.
What is going on and how do I fix this problem?
I just bought a house in a “bad” neighborhood and would like to know ways to prevent “bad” things from happening. Any home security system worth getting to prevent such issue? What if the thief succeeded in obtaining what they strive to obtain, am i insurred under the security system company? any opinion and suggestion?
coming in the yard or kids playing while the property is vacant?
I bought some fake cameras on ebay hoping that these kids get the freakin message to stay out of my fucking yard while I am away from my house for periods at a time.
Their mama (like most mothers using their kids as paychecks) does not give a shit where her hell-yuns are.
I tried to uninstall everything and was successful until i got to Norton internet security file and i can't remove it. Also the icon is gone so I can't get the Norton Removal Tool.
i am a permanent resident and i have a green card now.
I have WOT as an add on for firefox, but what other add on's are good for security. Lately I have been super paranoid about viruses and keeping my computer secure. I don't know much about computers at all, so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You!
I've been given the task of finding a good Wireless Security-style webcam that can be sent through a standard wireless router without requiring a server computer at all. Does anyone know of any that can do this?
I need some good models that will run through a wireless router.
I don’t mind about the anti virus but I prefer to buy zone alarm pro from a local store in the UK. Thanks
Our new house has a preinstalled Brinks home system. After searching reviews, it appears they are a hit/miss in terms of customer complaints and complements. Does anyone have any honest opinions and stories about who is a better home security system provider. Thanks.
Who is a better home security company to go with, ADT, Brinks or some other firm? Any good stories and suggestions?
On ebay, there are two ways i can go, wireless or wired. Wireless obviously involve less "wires" but regardless i need a power supply for each individual camera. Would it be bad to run extension cords in the attic, for these cameras?
Which one is more practical? I am looking for a package that I will be able to install on our 3 computers…..for under .00 hopefully. I have been looking on eBay and found some Norton software fairly cheap, but I don’t know the difference between Norton Antivirus and Norton Internet Security.
We recently moved into a new house that has electric smoke alarms wired up into the ceiling. They are overly sensitive and go off even when I’m burning a candle (ruined a good nookie session with my husband!). I’d like to replace them with battery powered ones, but not sure how to disconnect the electric ones.
I can't figure out how to unplug them…the wires go clear into the ceiling, as if they were installed by the house builder…
I recently switched from traditional landline phone to Vonage cable internet phone. However, my home security system can not communicate with the monitoring station as a result of disconnecting the phone line. How could I rewire my home phone wires to make my home security system work with the internet phone?
What are some good Home Security Alarm Systems?
The IT guy says do not use static IP, it's not safe meaning a home computer protected by basic software can easily be hacked. But I wish to have remote access to our cameras. Any suggestions ?
I have McAfee, but everytime I open internet explorer this internet security website opens the McAfee site advisor turns red, I tried changing the home page to yahoo, but it doesn't work. How do I take this off?
Hi, I have zone alarm and it gives me little alerts when a new program is asking for the internet. My problem is that now and then they will pop up while I'm typing and they instantly get the focus of the computer, so if I happen to press (a)ccept or (d)ecline, it will think I intended to select one of those. Is there a way to make it so when I get an alert, it won't immediately take input from my keyboard?
