well i wanted to take a couple of classes in collage for computer security when i get there but im in high school rite now
so were should i start to learn more bout it ?

As in, I want to help protect a company or anyone’s computer from being vulnerable to internet threats. What would I need to learn? I’m horrible at mathematics, but I love security. What can I do about that? Thanks in advance!

Looking for schools to transfer to for my bachelors has been confusing for me considering I dont see many offering this as a Major….what should I do I don’t want to be a computer science major…I want to be a computer security major and just focus on that stuff not everything else and just small portion of security aspect?

Regarding my computer security, is it better for me to install 2 anti-virus softwares or just 1 anti-virus?

For a few years now, I’ve had a padlock on my computer that I’ve kept locked at nights and I regularly wash the internet cables with Lysol. But people have told me that you constantly need to upgrade your security solutions, so can you offer me any advice?

well my degree is in computer science..w/t concentration in security so thats a start but I know i cant just bounce into security w/t an associates or bachelors you need experience to build your way up people tell me, what job would i go for like systems administator or ?

i have a computer security named widows live one care and i don’t want it because i already have a security called AntiVir. (and it kind of sucks to please tell me a good free computer security if u know of any).

I’ve seen it debated that some claim freeware to be sub par from programs you buy. And some claim freeware to be adequate to normal threats of the internet.

My opinion is that freeware is generally good enough if you already practice safe internet surfing and know things about internet security.

Some of the stuff you buy may or may not be better than freeware (just depends which you buy). If you want complete insurance that your computer is safe, some people claim certain programs are a must.
