can not set my internet security settings lower? They are all on High. I try to put them on medium -low but always goes back to High? How do I change this? Using XP Home, think have 6.0?

Every time I try to install norton my computer keeps freezing.As soon as I click on install norton internet security, it takes me to a " IBM think pad ultranav driver installation".After I install this my computer freezes. I have a IBM Thinkpad.

I am running AVG ISS with SpySweeper, all current versions, and they seem to protect me well. However, I heard that Karspesky Internet Security Suite is the most protective of all the top sellers. But, Karspesky, like Norton and others, will not run with SpySweeper installed, even if run in manual mode.

Do you think that I should continue with AVG ISS and Spysweeper or should I change to Karspersky ISS? Thanks.

I have the norton internet security suite provided by at&t. I keep getting a message saying "your norton internet security suite will expire soon" Upgrade to mcafee. I would like to know exactly when it expires, if there is a set date.

Boot scan is slowing my computer start up time, and I am trying to find a way to disable it. I am using Windows Vista Home Premium, with AVG Internet Security 8. I do not want to disable AVG on startup, just the boot scan.

I am having trouble understanding the differences among these three programs. It doesn’t seem that McAfee ever directly compares SecurityCenter with the other software. What makes the SecurityCenter software better or worse than Total Protection 2009 or Internet Security 2009?
