		<description>Chances are you can't turn the beep down.  Perhaps, though you could mute the sound.  The sounder may be visible from the front of the panel, but may be hidden behind it.  Maybe you can insulate it to kill the volume.  Of course, you could snip the wire or circuit board trace to it, but that would be permanent.  

Moving it would not be a big problem.  You should put tags on the wires, though, so it will be easy to reconnect them.</description>
