Is the hole spacing on smoke alarms standard?
My smoke detector is acting up and I’m going to get a new one(not the battery). I’m hoping to use the same screws. Do any of you know if the hole spacing is the same or is it different with different brands? I am hoping to buy one and pop it on and not have to make any new holes.

Before you replace it, if it is false tripping, try using a vacuum to clean out dust. I have fixed several this way.
yup
If you are talking about the mounting hole spacing, no, they are not necessarily alike from one brand to another. However, there is nothing stopping you from measuring the hole centers and buying one to match.
You will be very lucky!!!
They’re designed to install on a standard box.
The hole spacing and screws will be the same.
You’ll probably get screws with the new unit.
