What happens when I set my home alarm system on home arming ?
I want to set my alarm system on "home arming" (which is a feature in my alarm system). What does it do ?? And when will it go off ? What will trigger it ?
Thanks

you have two ways to arm your system HOME and AWAY. Home means just doors and windows arm when you arm the system. Away means the house is empty so all the motions can be armed too.
Be good to know but call your company, that way no one on the site gives you a way to rob someone just in case you aren’t legit or someone else reads how to disarm your protection.
Usually it set up correctly it arms the door and window sensors and disables any inside motion sensors. It is triggered by opening an outside door or window. You should check with your installer about the specifics of your system.
